Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Charles (Chuck) C. Chang, 56, is senior vice president and chief financial officer at Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Mr. Chang is responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial operations. Mr. Chang supports the evaluation, negotiation and closing of the company’s domestic and international financings, acquisitions and project developments. Additionally, he manages all accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, long-range financial planning and internal audit functions for the company.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway Energy in October 2024, Mr. Chang was a partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Energy Practice, working with large multinational energy companies. He has 34 years of extensive expertise in accounting, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainability. Mr. Chang is a certified public accountant in California and Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, San Jose.
