Chris Brown, 64, is president and CEO of BHE Infrastructure Group, a commercial initiative with a broad mandate to invest in diverse infrastructure projects, from energy to transport to data, while remaining nimble and responsive to market needs. Brown joined Berkshire Hathaway Energy in October 2020 after decades of leadership experience in energy and infrastructure, and he is hands-on and ready to listen in his new role.

Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Brown served for about eight years at Vestas as president for sales and service operations in the United States and Canada, growing the business into the largest supplier of wind turbines in North America. His background also includes two years as chief operating officer of the city of Detroit, plus time as a senior executive in the offshore wind industry, a large U.S. utility, and an international utility.
